To utilize Maelle, you should take note of the stances and the differences between each one. Some weapons offer a default stance that Maelle can take advantage of to deal huge amounts of damage in the opening turns of a fight. It is also worth noting that these stances also offer passive advantages to Maelle, requiring the player to use skill after skill to change stances.
As mentioned above, Maelle has a lot of skills that deal great damage to enemies. Having a good weapon with a remarkable Power allows you to multiply that damage to astronomical numbers. Take good note of weapons and upgrade them only when you have to as upgrade resources are pretty limited, especially the higher-tier ones.
To fully maximize each weapon, they must be upgraded to higher levels. The higher the level, the better the stats. Aside from better numbers, you also get to unlock three passive abilities with each weapon, granting the user incredible advantages in the battlefield. As mentioned, upgrade resources may be scarce in the early and middle parts of the game so choose wisely when upgrading a weapon.
