In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Monoco can use a good variety of skills with devastating effect if given the right weapon. As he copies attacks from enemies, Monoco can be a great damage dealer, support, and nuker, if given the proper tools and skills. You can check out Monoco’s weapons in the game using the list below.

Monoco’s gimmick is his Bestial Wheel. This wheel moves to a different “mask” (category) whenever it is Monoco’s turn. Think of it as a predictable roulette wheel with you being “encouraged” to use a skill under a certain “mask”. As it moves, additional effects to Monoco’s skills are unlocked. Some of these effects include increased damage, additional AP, and even additional buffs/debuffs. With this in mind, you can equip weapons that forces the default starting position of the Bestial wheel, allowing you to use your favorite skills once the battle starts.
One significant advantage (or disadvantage) of Monoco from the other characters is that he has a lot of skills. Monoco’s skills vary greatly and it is highly recommended that you take one from each mask so you can play skills whenever the Bestial Wheel indicates an advantage. However, note that you can still cast skills even if its not the mask indicated by the Bestial Wheel and it will still take effect. You just lose the additional effects.
To fully maximize each weapon, they must be upgraded to higher levels. The higher the level, the better the stats. Aside from better numbers, you also get to unlock three passive abilities with each weapon, granting the user incredible advantages in the battlefield. As mentioned, upgrade resources may be scarce in the early and middle parts of the game so choose wisely when upgrading a weapon.
