In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can find journals scattered across the game world, one of which is the journal of Renoir. Get to know the contents of this journal, where to find it, and more using this guide.
Renoir’s journal can be found inside the Manor door located in Old Lumiere. To get here, proceed until you reach the manor grounds. Instead of going to the center, go to the garden located on the left side of the manor grounds. Use the broken part of the wall to go through. Go left and around the hedges to reach the door.
Upon entering the door, exit through the door and turn right. Renoir’s journal should be on top of the bedside table.
…but how? With someone who refuses to talk. We don’t even share the bonds of grief anymore. She walks her path and I walk mine. I don’t exist to her. None of us do. She’s left us all behind to drown by ourselves, so that she can drown alone…
Collecting Journals is not for naught! Once you collect a good amount, you can exchange them for those tasty Colour of Lumina. And it’s not a small amount either, you can get about 100 Colour of Lumina if you collect enough and exchange them at the Gestral Village. You can find this Gestral by turning left and heading towards the Gestral Bazaar once you pass the village gates.
As they were mostly written by members of previous Expeditions, journals explain a lot about the world of Clair Obscu: Expedition 33. These journals contain discoveries, horrors, and even triumphs of those that went before Expedition 33. Collecting them might be optional but if you really want to learn more about the world, you may have to explore a lot while keeping your eyes peeled.
Curious about the best ending for Expedition 33? Wonder know more as we have a handy guide for that.
On the other hand, we can help you in finding the other journals using this handy journal list.
