Verso’s journal can be found on a plateau west of the exit of the Forgotten Battlefield. It can only be accessed after Esquie gains the ability to fly which is after you defeat the Paintress. The journal details how Julie and her team interrogated Verso and were dealt with as they started to ask questions regarding the Paintress and the canvas.

Collecting Journals is not for naught! Once you collect a good amount, you can exchange them for those tasty Colour of Lumina. And it’s not a small amount either, you can get about 100 Colour of Lumina if you collect enough and exchange them at the Gestral Village. You can find this Gestral by turning left and heading towards the Gestral Bazaar once you pass the village gates.
