The OPPO A83 was just released back in January and OPPO is still raising the bar on what a budget smartphone can do with selfies. Available for PhP 7,990, the OPPO A71 (2018) aims to bring the company’s AI Beautification Technology to even more people.
Inside the OPPO A71 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the screen is a 5.2-inch 720p display. Imaging is handled by 13MP rear camera while selfies are taken with a 5MP front-facing camera. The OPPO A71 runs on Android 7.1.1 with ColorOS 3.2 on top. The smartphone gets its juice from a 3,000mAh battery.
For the uninitiated, OPPO’s AI Beautification Technology allows the smartphone to analyze the subject’s face in more than 220 facial points, and can detect skin tone, age, and race, for a more natural looking beautification effect.
The OPPO A71 is now available in all concept stores nationwide for PhP 7,990.
