OPPO doubles down on the features while keeping the price relatively low with the newly announced OPPO A7. Sporting a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera and a huge 4,230mAh battery, the OPPO A7 brings something new to the A-series with its new back cover build.
The OPPO A7 sports a waterdrop screen also found on the OPPO F9. The 6.2-inch InCell screen totals an 88.4% screen-to-body ratio while the resolution has been cut to 1520 x 720. To protect the screen, the display also comes with Gorilla Glass 3. Hidden on the waterdrop notch is a single 16MP front-facing camera.
At the rear is a more premium textured back cover that simulates the feel of glass found on more expensive smartphones. The rear is also decked with a fingerprint scanner as well as a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup.
As with most OPPO smartphones released in the past year, the OPPO A7 comes with AI Beautification as well as AR Stickers for a fun and engaging experience while taking selfies or when taking videos.
Inside the OPPO A7 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the OPPO ColorOS 5.2 on top. The device is powered by a 4,320mAh battery.
