In terms of laptop battery-life, MacBooks are one of the best in the business. Maybe the best. But sometimes when we’re pretty confident of the battery life, we’re caught without a charging cable and is forced to watch battery get dangerously low.

A new app dubbed as Endurance claims to extend your MacBook’s battery life by at least 20% when enabled. It works by monitoring battery-hungry parts of your precious laptop like the screen brightness, flash plug-in and apps that consume battery fast.

The app will start working by default when your laptop battery goes to a certain percentage (70% by default but you can adjust at whatever percentage you like). When enabled, you’ll see the tasks the app is managing with the checkmarks.
