In Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes (FEW3H), players can acquire a resource called “Renown”. Using this resource allows the player to buy special items, legendary crest weapons, and secret characters. Get to know how to get Renown, how to use them, and more using this guide.
Volunteering is the easiest way to get Renown. Volunteering nets you at most 2 Renown whenever you use it. While Volunteering requires an activity point, you do get a lot with it as you can raise support levels for three characters, sometimes get items to gift, and of course, renown. The renown acquired varies depending on how well you did the chore.
Completing the story missions nets you renown. This is where you can get a lot but as missions are limited, you’ll likely get more renown with just the Volunteering method. Also, the less regions that you capture in a chapter, the more renown that you get. In terms of rewards, it’s more worth it to venture and capture all regions as you get more items and bonuses compared to just doing a beeline towards the main quest.
Renown is used to buy special items in your personal quarters. During your time in the camp, you can access this shop by interacting with your journal. It is highly recommended to buy items here as they permanently boost stats that are useful in the battlefield. Buy these items whenever you can!
Once you clear the game, you get more items in the Renown Shop. This includes Crest Weapons, special accessories, and even secret characters. After clearing a save, you can access these new features by reloading the cleared save or by simply starting a new story campaign.
