Huawei has just announced in Shenzhen, China that they will be bringing two new 5G smartphones: the Huawei Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G with both having the Kirin 990 chipset.
The Huawei Mate Xs will sport the same design as the Mate X. The chipset, however, has been updated to a Kirin 990 to the previous Kirin 980. One of the biggest advantage of the Kirin 990 over its predecessor is its 5G modem as well as a faster NPU and faster clocked cores.
Huawei did not release any more details about the Huawei Mate Xs. It seems that we’ll have to wait for more information to trickle in in the coming months.
