G.Skill, in partnership with ASRock and extreme overclocker Splave, have set a new world record for DDR5 memory frequency at DDR5-12666. Splave was able to push the limits of DDR5 memory speeds to its limits using G.Skill memory, ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF, and Intel Core Ultra 9 285K under extreme liquid nitrogen cooling.
This world record for DDR5-12666 demonstrates the overclocking capabilities of G.Skill DDR5 memory when paired with Intel’s Core Ultra 200 K-series desktop on the ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard. The record has been submitted to and validated by HWBOT and CPU-Z.
Splave is a two-time OC Champion of the G.Skill OC World Cup and is currently the #1 ranked overclocker on HWBOT. He has travelled the world to push computer hardware to its limits. He is also the founder of SplavePC, which offers Splave ONE high performance thermal paste and a series of Splave-tuned overclock PC systems.
