GameMax has refreshed their RGB-Smart Series 80 Plus Gold PSUs, which now feature ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. Designed for RGB enthusiasts, all models under the range include a 140mm ARGB cooling fan and up to 1300W in power.
The GameMax RGB-Smart Series feature a native 16-pin 12V-2×6 connector for the latest GPUs, with a maximum power output of 600W. All of its cables are modular to minimize cable use and a cleaner cable management.
Its 140mm ARGB fan promises silent operation, up to 40,000 hours lifespan, and support for RGB synchronization for brands such as ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte. Depending on your rig, you can choose from various power requirements from 750W to 1300W.
Its RGB lighting come with 25 lighting effect modes and can be manually switched by pressing the RGB Light button. Pressing it for 3 seconds turns off its lighting.
All models are 80 PLUS Gold certified with conversion efficiency exceeding 90 percent. These PSUs use PCB copper foil compared to traditional wiring.
GameMax says that they are using Japanese 105°C large capactor for high-volage filtering. They also employ multiple protections such as Over Voltage Protection, Under Voltage Protection, Over Power Protection, Over Current Protection, Short Circuit Protection, and Over Temperature Protection.
This series is certified by multiple standards including CB, TUV, cTUVus, CE, LVD, and FCC.
