The Garmin Instinct 2 series have officially launched in the Philippines. They offer a slimmer profile, better battery life, a full suite of wellness features, and are pre-loaded with sports apps and activities for an active lifestyle.

The Instinct 2 series have two new sizes: Instinct 2 with a 45mm bezel and the Instinct 2S with a smaller 40mm bezel. Their displays have high-resolution displays, an easy-to-read display protected by scratch-resistant glass. They are also built to military standard 810 for thermal and shock resistance and is water rated to 100 meters.

The smartwatch can deliver up to 4 weeks of continuous use while in smartwatch mode while select Instinct 2solar models can deliver even longer performance in the same mode.

The Instinct 2 series now has Garmin’s full suite of wellness features including Sleep Score and Advanced Sleep Monitoring, Body Battery, Heart Rate, VO2 Max, Fitness Age, Training Status/Load/Effect, Recovery Time, HIIT Workouts, and Daily Suggested Workout.

Preloaded sports app includes multisport activity that allows users to transition between activities and continue to view their total time and distance. It also has incident detection when paired to Garmin Connect Mobile, which can send a message with the user’s name and location to their emergency contacts.

The Instinct 2 series provides three purpose-built editions:

  • Surf Edition – Dedicated to watersports activities such as surf, windsurfing, and kiteboarding. It has a tides widget that keeps users up to date on ocean conditions.
  • Tactical Edition – Designed for military personal, Tactical Edition adds dedicated features such as Kill Switch, Stealth Mode, Night Vision Goggle Compatibility, Dual Format Position Coordinates, and Jumpmaster Activity mode.
  • Camo Edition – Graphite and Mist Camo patterns lets individuals blend in or stand out depending on the location, be it concrete jungle or an actual jungle.

Garmin Instinct 2 Series Price and Availability

The Garmin Instinct 2 series are now available in the Philippines with a starting price of PhP 19,735. The first 25 customers that will pre-order until March 2, 2022 will get a free Garmin shirt and cap.
