At HOYOFEST 2023, the event showcases all the game titles of HOYOVERSE including the famous Genshin Impact. While there are booths to experience and merch to avail at the event, one particular game title is on closed beta open for trial at the site which is Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ).
Zenless Zone Zero is a 3D action RPG that is very unlike what other game titles of Hoyoverse looks like. It has a very edgy and graphics centric design which we think will cater more to players that likes a game similar to Persona and FFXVI in both design and gameplay combined.
The beta preview is still in its early stages but HOYOVERSE is seeking sentiments about the game as early as now to further improve it. We say in the demo the gameplay style is very similar to Genshin Impact, but the level of details in the overall game is impressive and invested towards more action-centric gamers.
The game is very simple with an arcade style of gameplay utilizing the mouse and mostly ASWDQWER for the buttons. Right now you can do a quick story, challenge mode and roaming into the beta preview which will let you choose up to 12 characters. Battle style is simple enought that there is even a stagger mode and chain attacks as you can choose up to 3 characters per deployment.
For now that’s what you can expect with the closed beta preview at the event.HOYOVERSE mentioned that this game is still in development (PC and Mobile versions are expected) and no release date is set yet, but hey might as well try it if you are in the area to get a feel of the upcoming game from the company.
You can still catch the Hoyofest event until October 29, 2023 at SM Megamall Event Center A, make sure to arrive early as this Sunday the line crawled up until 5th floor of SM Megamall just for the entrance of the event proper. You can also buy official merchandise from the game titles you like as this is the first time HOYOVERSE have done this in the country.
