Globe is continuing to improve its 5G services in the Philippines. It has successfully rolled out 256 new 5G sites for the first half of 2024.
With this latest achievement, Globe’s 5G outdoor coverage in the National Capital Region now reaches 98.45 percent. Key cities across Visayas and Mindanao reaches a coverage rate of 94.19 percent.
Globe says that this expansion underscores its efforts to push the boundaries of digital connectivity and offer Filipinos with faster and more reliable Internet services.
In June 2024, Globe registered more than 7 million devices on its 5G network, an indicator of the growing demand for high-speed mobile data and its ability to meet demand.

Globe has also made efforts to improve services in the international stage having forged 5G roaming partnerships with 167 operators across 87 destinations. These partnerships ensure the its customers can enjoy their services both in the Philippines and abroad.
