Globe at Home has improved their ranking in the Netflix’s ISP Index this January 2021 placing tied at first alongside Converge ICT both with an average of 3.2Mbps.

Globe says that 2020 was a significant year for its Home Broadband business despite the current situation. It posted revenues of PhP 26.8 billion, which is a 23% increase year-on-year from 2019’s PhP 21.7 billion. The total number of subscribers now stand at 3.8 million which is an 88% increase from 2019.

In addition Globe’s aggressive build and network expansion program in 2020, they will also be intending to rollout an additional 1 million fiber lines this 2021. They have already designated PhP 70 billion in capital expense, 80% of which will be used on data network builds.
