Globe expands 5G roaming coverage in 72 countries

Globe is expanding its 5G roaming services with its footprint now covering 72 countries worldwide. Additional countries included in the list Guatemala, South Africa, Seychelles, India, Peru, Aland Islands, Crete, Croatia, and Romania. These additions mean that both Globe postpaid and prepaid customers can now enjoy its 5G services in more destinations.

Postpaid customers can pre-register for their preferred data roaming promos a day before their trip via the GlobeOne app. Options include the Roam Surf Longer Stay offers for data roaming for PhP 200 per day. Alternatively, Globe Roam Surf 399 is available to them by turning on mobile data and data roaming upon landing at their destination. This data roaming offer renews automatically every 24 hours for PhP 399 a day.

On the other hand, Globe prepaid users can immediately connect to roaming partners and register for Roam Surf promos via GlobeOne for as low as PhP 100 per day. Once registered, they only need to turn on Mobile Data and Data roaming, restart their smartphone, and ensure that the APN is set to internet.globe.com.ph.

Our goal has always been to provide our customers with the best possible roaming experience. With our 5G coverage now spanning 72 countries, we’re leading the way in the Philippines and giving our customers a better Roaming experience. Whether you’re a Globe customer traveling abroad or a foreign subscriber visiting our beautiful islands, you can now #RoamWithGlobe and enjoy unparalleled 5G speeds,” said Coco Domingo, Vice President for Postpaid and International Business.
