Globe is already pushing hard for the adoption of 5G in the Philippines with their Home Air Fiber 5G. In an effort to bring new speeds to their customers, they are now bringing the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G in the Philippines via their postpaid plans.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G comes with a modified variant of the Kirin 990 chip. The Kirin 990 5G, as the name suggests, is capable of taking advantage of the faster 5G NSA and SA networks.

Aside from faster network speeds, the chip inside Huawei Mate 30 5G has a boosted Image Signal Processing to improve camera experience. The smartphone has a quad camera setup composed of a 40MP SuperSensing Camera, a 40MP Cine Camera, an 8MP Telephoto Lens, and a 3D Depth Sensing Shooter.

Globe is bringing the smartphone into the Philippines via their postpaid plans. The Huawei Mate 30 5G will be available for free via the Globe ThePLATINUM 4999 Plan for existing customers and recontracting customers starting February 8, 2020.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 4G and 5G variants will also be available in select Globe stores with recontracting offers: Mate 30 PLAN 1999 Free, Mate 30 Pro PLAN 2499 Free, Mate 30 Pro 5G PLAN 2499 with a PhP 16,800 cash out.
