Globe has announced their deal with Roku to allow them to leverage Roku’s streaming platform, which includes their operating system, channel store, and streaming players to launch a new Globe Streamwatch device in the Philippines.

Globe’s Streamwach works just like a Chromecast. It can stream content from your favorite streaming service such as Disney, HOOQ, Netflix, FOX+, and YouTube. It even has more than 100 free channels. Unlike cable TV, however, you’ll only need to have an Internet connection in order for Globe’s Streamwatch to work.

To use Globe’s Streamwatch, you’ll only need to plug the device to your TV’s HDMI port, connect it to the Internet, and you’re good to go. The process has been made even easier with the device’s included remote.

The Globe Streamwatch will retail on its own at PhP 999. You can also add PhP 50.00 on your Globe at Home plan to get the Globe Streamwatch. These prices, however, are only introductory prices. Prices may change in the future. Getting a Streamwatch also entitles you 3 months of free subscription to HOOQ, Disney, and soon, Fox+.
