Globe is finally rolling out their prepaid eSIM in the Philippines, nearly a six year when they first introduced eSIM to postpaid subscribers. They say that the local eSIM focuses on convenience, eco-friendliness, and a streamlined digital experience.

For PhP 99, the Globe Postpaid local eSIM can eliminate the use of plastic and carded distribution of SIM cards. It caters for both iOS and Android devices, and can be exclusively accessed through the GlobeOne app – allowing you to access and install your SIM onto your smartphone without physical SIM delivery.

Activating Globe’s eSIM can be activated via QR code or through the add eSIM under the “Cellular Plan” or “SIM Card Manager” on your smartphone. All subscribers are required to register via the GlobeOne app.

You can also manage multiple profiles using different mobile numbers on a single device to effortlessly switch lines for various purposes like travel.

The Globe Prepaid Local eSIM is exclusiveto new Globe Prepaid mobile numbers. The telco is promising to enhance its offerings and plans to enable conversion of existing prepaid SIM cards to eSIMs in the future.
