Globe says that 80% of Metro Manila can now experience 5G outdoor coverage. This was made possible due to the 884 locations in the Metro upgraded into 5G-ready sites to make the service more readily available to its customers.

Additional efforts are being made to cover key cities outside the metro such as Cebu and Davao with 61% and 60% outdoor coverage, respectively.
Globe has designated a total of PhP 70 billion for 2021 which most of its bulk will be spent for its network expansion in key locations across the city. They are now targeting to install around 2,000 new cell towers and to increase fiber rollout for Filipinos.
