With GoPro leading the action cam market, numerous imaging brands have followed suit with the own activity camera. Sony, Xiaomi, SJCam and others have joined the trend and have done well for themselves.
Another imaging brand, Olympus is set to compete and get a share of the action camera pie with their Stylus TG-Tracker, a member of the Tough series. The Stylus TG-Tracker comes with a 204-degree (f/2.0) wide angle lens and a Truepic TM VII processor that could handle 4K video at 30fps. It features an 8-megapixel CMOS (1/2.3) sensor for stills, 5-axis image stabilization and a tilt-out 1.5 inch LCD.
The Olympus Stlyus TG Tracker is 100ft waterproof, 7ft shockproof, 14 degrees Fahrenheit freezproof, dust proof and 220lbs force crushproof without any housing. It will also feature GPS capabilities for geotagging and WiFi for iOS or Android connectivity.
The Olympus Stylus TG Tracker is expected to be priced at 350USD or around 16,800Php.
