Grab Philippines is gearing up this holiday season to improve the reliability and accessibility of their platform. Aside from improved services, they are also introducing several new features to maximize efficiency of both drivers and its customers.
Grab says that their data suggest that they experience at least a 19% increase in daily users for its ride-hailing services every last quarter of the year. The number boosts up to 45% in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of December. On the other hand, their delivery numbers increase by 20% on key holiday dates with recent surveys revealing that 44% of Grab PH users rely on the app for festive meals.
They are assuring that fares with stay fair, in line with the regulatory matrix implemented by the LTFRB. Aiding the accessibility of its ride-haling services is its GrabUnlimited subscription service that includes an everyday 8% discount on GrabCar rides. They also launched GrabCar Saver – an affordable solution that’s cheaper than a standard GrabCar ride with a slightly longer wait time.
For groups of people going to a party or to a reunion this holiday season, Grab has launched their Group Ride feature. This enables you to book rides for multiple passengers and maximize a single vehicle. Think of it as a larger GrabPool with your friends.
Larger families can take advantage of the new Family Account that allows you to share a single account and simplify the management of rides and expenses.
For enhanced security, Grab is implementing the opt-in Audio Protect that records audio during rides to help deter untoward behavior. The recording is stored within your device for 7 – 10 days, and will only be uploaded to the cloud if there is a dispute within the time period.
For deliveries, Grab is rolling out Large Orders and Group Order to simply large quantities of food. For more the more budget-conscious of you, GrabFood Saver can minimize delivery fees for a bit more wait time.
