Grab Philippines has announced that their Share carpool services will be suspended tomorrow, March 13, 2020. This suspension was pushed amidst the rising COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.

Grab’s Share services will be suspended in Metro Manila and Cebu starting March 13, 2020 at 12:00pm. This was done in order prevent the COVID-19 virus from accidentally spreading further. The service will be reinstated once the public health situation de-escalates.

Though their carpool services are being suspended, other services such as Grab Car, Premium, and Food will remain available in order to serve their loyal users. Grab has assured that the suspension of Share will not affect the rates of these services.
