Based on the teaser video, Huawei will be banking on the telephoto capabilities of the P30. This is especially evident since the video focuses on zooming in on details on captured photos.
We’ve already seen what Huawei can do with some magical software trickery with a couple of zoom samples of our own. This time around, however, Huawei might be leveling up their smartphones’ zoom capabilities.
Based on the information we’ve seen so far, the Huawei P30 should come with a Kirin 980 and a 6.0-inch teardrop display with under-the-display fingerprint capabilities.
Renders have also shown the Huawei P30 having a triple rear camera setup with a 38MP main camera as well as 5x optical zoom. It is also rumored that the device will have a 24MP front-facing camera and will run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0.
We’ll have to wait and see what the Huawei P30 series can do on its launch date on March 23.
