There are a total of 13 magical beasts in Hogwarts Legacy. Players can encounter them across the map and capture all of them for virtually unlimited resources back in the Room of Requirement. Capturing beasts and having them inside the Room of Requirement can only be done after finishing the quest “Beasts Class”.
Once you get the Enchanted Loom for the Room of Requirement, you can finally upgrade existing equipment to get better stats. Not only that but you can also append Traits to clothing, making your spells more potent and deadlier. Upgrading equipment requires materials from magical beasts so you do get something from breeding and harvesting resources from them.
