“Flight Path” is the quest that you need to complete to access the Broom. To unlock this quest, you must first finish the main story quest, “Jackdaw’s Rest”. This quest is unmissable and you have to do it to progress the game. After clearing the quest, go to Hogsmeade and visit Albie Weekes to buy a custom broom for 600 gold/galleons.

Broom Configuration Is Cosmetic Only

Hogwarts Legacy Broom Custom

The brooms you get presented with during your initial visit are purely cosmetic. Although they have flowery descriptions, they have no gameplay impact. They do not add speed, maneuverability, or anything. With that said, choose which one you fancy as your first broom. You can buy the other designs and change to different ones later during your adventures.
