Hogwarts Legacy Multiplayer & Coop Details

-

In Hogwarts Legacy, players play as a magic user in an open-world filled with fantastic beasts and events. This begs the question: is there multiplayer in Hogwarts Legacy? Get to know multiplayer & coop details, upcoming features, and more using this guide.

Hogwarts Legacy Multiplayer & Coop

Hogwarts Legacy Is A Single Player Game

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play with your friends or strangers in Hogwarts Legacy. The game is singleplayer only and does not have neither multiplayer nor coop features. While it may be unfortunate, the world of Hogwarts Legacy is filled with amazing stuff so it won’t be as sad as it may seem.

Coming In The Future?

There is no official announcement about adding multiplayer to Hogwarts Legacy. It has been designed to be a singleplayer experience from the ground up. With that said, that does not stop other players from giving it the multiplayer feature that it deserves.

Multiplayer Mod Incoming

An unofficial mod being done by the team behind Skyrim Together, a ESV Skyrim Multiplayer mod, is hard at work in bringing together friends in Hogwarts Legacy. The mod named “HogWarp” is currently in development and it may take time for it to be fully released and available to the public. However, given the team’s incredibly history in delivering, we may see a lot of people running around inside Hogwarts sooner than expected.

You can support the team via their Patreon here.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PC, PS5 & PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. Get to know more about the game via the official website.
