Hong Kong Internet subsea cable now fixed according to PLDT

-

After a month of waiting, the Hong Kong Internet subsea cable codenamed SEA-ME-WE3 has already been fixed based on a statement released by PLDT from their official Facebook page. This subsea cable routes traffic Perth to Singapore and other countries in the South East Asia region.

The cable was damaged when Hong Kong was hit by two consecutive storms back in August 2017. Hopefully the Internet speeds of Fiber users in the Philippines will now normalize.
