After much teasing, the HONOR 200 series have arrived in the Philippines. Two models are being introduced locally: the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro. Both come with new hardware such as 3rd Generation Snapdragon numbered chipsets, 50MP shooters, and AI capabilities.
The big feature of the HONOR 200 series is their AI photography capabilities. The developed in-collaboration with Studio Harcourt, its AI recreates the lighting and shadow effects of the studio. The AI promises well-balanced lighting and multiple options to choose from for you to take your desired portrait. Night Mode is also enhanced thanks to their main cameras with OIS to capture detailed snaps and backgrounds, despite low light.
Aside from photography itself, there are also other AI implementations within the smartphone. You can now switch the Bokeh after taking the photo within the Gallery app and automatic organization of snaps.
As for hardware, there are some similarities between the base and pro version. Both will come with a 50MP f/2.4 telephoto, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 50MP f/2.1 front-facing camera. They also come with a 5,200mAh battery that supports HONOR 100W SuperCharge, IP65 Dust and Water Resistance, and Android 14 based on MagicOS 8.0.
The difference between the two is their rear design, screen size, chipset, and main camera. The 200 Pro comes with a slightly larger 6.78-inch 2700 x 1224 AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and a 50MP f/1.9 main camera with OIS, On the other hand, the 200 has a 6.7-inch 2664 x 1200 AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, and a 50MP f/1.95 main shooter that also comes with OIS.
