The HONOR GT is the brand’s own take on a gaming smartphone similar to that of the ROG Phone. Like its peers, it packs in the latest flagship chipset for plenty of gaming overhead, improved cooling, and big battery.
The HONOR GT packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to a terabyte of storage. Its chipset is cooled with a 3D cooling system with graphite elements, large heatsink, and 9W thermal conductive gel to maintain peak performance for longer.
HONOR equips the GT with a 6.78-inch FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Powering the device is a larger-than-average 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W charging.
As for cameras, the GT packs a Sony IMX906-powered 50MP main camera a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 16MP selfie camera. It will run on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 on top, but HONOR has yet to announce any gaming-specific features.
The HONOR GT starts at CNY 2,199 (PhP 18,000) and reaches CNY 3,299 (PhP 27,000) for its top end 16GB/1TB variant. It’s currently exclusive to China and there’s no word yet if it will have an international release.
