HONOR Magic V5 launches in PH, priced at PhP 89,999

After much anticipation, the HONOR Magic V5 has officially arrived in the Philippines. This flagship foldable aims to undercut the existing range of flagships by offering high-end specifications while being lower in price.

The HONOR Magic V5 comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its main display measures in at 7.95-inches with a resolution of 2353 x 2172 while its cover display comes in at 6.43 inches at 2376 x 1060.

Its hinge, called the Super Steel Hinge, is lighter than previous entries while still maintaining a high tensile strength. This increase in durability means that the hinge will survive longer with HONOR being so confident that they hung a 3-seater sofa from it.

Its cameras include a 50MP f/1.6 OIS main shooter, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 64MP f/2.5 telephoto with OIS. Both displays support 20MP f/2.2 lenses. There are AI features that lets you improve photos such as AI Eraser and AI SuperZoom.

A 5,820mAh battery powers the device that supports 66W HONOR SuperCharge and 50W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge. Its chassis is rated for IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance to increase survivability against the weather.

The HONOR Magic V5 is priced at PhP 89,999 in the Philippines. You can now get it through authorized retailers nationwide as well as through Globe Postpaid plans.
