The HONOR Magic7 Series are set to make their debut in China on October 30, 2024. As a teaser of sorts, they have unveiled some of the features that will come to their next generation flagship.
We already know that the Magic7 Series will be powered by the next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite platform at their presentation at the Snapdragon Summit 2024.
The flagship, however, will come with more AI integrations. It will be first HONOR smartphone to come with an on-device AI agent. With your consent, the AI can learn from your habits to make intelligent decisions such as ordering your preferred drink from a simple text or voice prompt.
HONOR’s AI Agent can also find and cancel unwanted subscriptions across different apps, schedule travel and booking, and handle cross-app file transfer. It will be introduced with MagicOS 9.0 on the Magic7 Series.
Thanks to its new hardware, their next flagships will sport on-device generative AI plus real-time AI graphics rendering for mobile games. This reduces GPU load, which leads to lower device temperatures while offering higher image quality.
They also showed off MagicRing – a multi-device AI. This helps to smoothen the workflow between devices. For example, you can now use Cocreator on Windows to create art from AI and seamlessly access your work via compatible devices such as other HONOR devices.
