HONOR Magic7 series unveiled packing Snapdragon 8 Elite

The HONOR Magic7 series has just been unveiled making it the brand’s second launch of their flagship Magic lineup this year. This high-end refresh packs improved cameras, faster charging speeds, and the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the HONOR Magic7 and Magic7 Pro will come with better performance and its built-in NPU enables faster AI performance. The chip is complemented by up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Pro model will come with a 50MP main camera with variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/2.0. Accompanying it is a 200MP f/2.6 telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 50MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

The Magic7 retails the 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide and 50MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Its main camera is now a 50MP f/1.9 while its 50MP f/2.4 telephoto camera can reach up to 3x optical zoom.

Both devices come with OLED screens: 6.8-inch for the Pro and 6.78-inch for the vanilla model. Their displays run at 120Hz.

As for batteries, the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro will come with 5,650mAh and 5,850mAh, respectively. They will support HONOR 100W SuperCharge and 80W wireless charging. Their chassis are also rated for IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

The HONOR Magic7 and Magic7 Pro are priced starting at CNY 4,500 and CNY 5,700, respectively. They are currently exclusive to China and there’s no word yet as to when they will release to the global market.

When directly converted, series will start at PhP 37,000 and PhP 47,000. Given’s HONOR’s rapid expansion in the Philippines, they may just introduce the flagship series soon after the global launch.
