After a few months of silence since breaking away as an independent brand of their own, Honor has resurfaced to introduce their new budget-focused smartphone: the Honor Play 20. It comes with a new chipset, a large 5,000mAh battery, and dual cameras at the back.

The Honor Play 20 packs a 6.5-inch 1600 x 720 IPS display with a 5MP f/2.4 selfie camera at the front. At the back are its dual cameras composed of a 13MP f/1.8 main lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The smartphone receives a T610 chip from Unisoc which sports two Cortex A75 cores, six Cortex A55 cores, and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and runs on Android 10 with the brand’s Magic UI 4.0.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor Play 20 will be initially available through online retailers in China starting April 30. Several variants will be on stock at these prices:

  • 4GB/128GB – CNY 899
  • 6GB/128GB – CNY 1,099
  • 8GB/128GB – CNY 1,399

Color variants include Magic Night Black, Iceland White, Aurora Blue, and Titanum Silver. No word yet if the device will have a global launch.’
