HONOR Philippines has set a new Guinness World Record for “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously” after a total of 264 participants dropped the upcoming HONOR X9c 5G at the same time.
The brand was confident about the X9c 5G’s ability to survive drops thanks to its all-angle triple defense feature that has an SGS 5-Star Rating for drop resistance, which allows it to handle up to 2-meter drops.
Aside from impacts, the device that also survive being submerged by up to 25cm deep for a maximum of 5 minutes as well as resist temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
To show off its heat resistance, HONOR has started a wave of smartphone boiling challenges across social media to prove that it can survive even being boiled for a short time.
