It seems that HONOR Philippines is starting 2025 early by launching the “Toughest Phone” this January. They have not unveiled any specifics yet, but this might be the follow for the HONOR X9b.
Based on the brand’s previous timeline of smartphones, the HONOR X9a and X9b both launched in January. This means that HONOR Philippines’ next device to arrive might be the HONOR X9c.
Launched globally last November, the X9c aims to up the ante by being more durable than its predecessor. The brand claims that its Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 2.0 lets it to be rated for a 2-meter drop resistance. Its chassis is also IP65 dust and water resistant and its scratch resistance can endure up to 3000 cycles of steel wool friction.
As for hardware, the smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 6.78-inch 2700 x 1224 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP main camera, and a 6,600mAh battery with 66W HONOR SuperCharge.
