After a bit of teasing, the HONOR X8a has officially launched in the Philippines. Hot on the heels of the X7a, the X8a is placed a bit higher than its sister and comes upgraded with a 100MP f/1.9 main camera. The smartphone also upgrades its chipset with a MediaTek Helio G88 complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Its 100MP primary camera is backed by a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. Selfies can be taken with a 16MP f/2.45 front-facing camera. Its battery is reduced to only 4,500mAh for a smaller profile but charging speeds at the same since its USB-C port supports HONOR 22.5W SuperCharge.
The screen is a 6.7-inch 2388 x 1080 panel running at 90Hz for smoother gameplay and usage. It will run on Android 12 with MagicUI 6.1 and will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on its power button.
