The HONOR X9c Smart 5G, the budget follow up for the X9c 5G, has officially launched in the Philippines. It shares similar specifications as its brother, but comes with a more affordable price tag.
HONOR’s X9c Smart 5G was first introduced early December 2024. Though it is positioned at a lower price point, it shares the same camera system of the X9c 5G with a 108MP f/1.75 main camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 16MP f/2.45 selfie shooter. The display is just a smidge larger at 6.8 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate, but its resolution is a bit lower at 2412 x 1200.
To fit its more affordable position, HONOR is using a MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Battery size has been decreased to 5,800mAh and its charging speeds is now limited to 35W.
The device runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. It will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for additional security. Colorways include Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan.
The HONOR X9c Smart 5G is priced at PhP 13,999 in the Philippines. You can get it exclusively via Shopee for only PhP 10,799 during the 3.3 Super Brand Marathon and will come bundled with a Camping Light Speaker.
