The HONOR X9c 5G is getting a follow up with the similarly named HONOR X9c Smart 5G. The “Smart” model is placed a tier just below the original and will be launching in the Philippines on February 20, 2025.
The HONOR X9c Smart 5G was first introduced early December 2024. As a more affordable alternative to the X9c 5G, the Smart comes with similarities and some budget-oriented decisions from the brand.
According to the brand’s global website, it now comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage while the AMOLED display has been replaced with a 6.8-inch 2412 x 1080 120Hz screen.
Its battery and charging speeds have also taken a hit with the device being equipped with a 5,800mAh battery and 35W Charging.
It seems that the camera system remains the same with a 108MP f/1.75 main camera and a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide at the back and a 16MP f/2.45 front-facing shooter.
The HONOR X9c Smart 5G is slated to launch in the Philippines on February 20, 2025. More details will be unveiled on its arrival. Stay tuned.
