How the vivo V30 fixes Night Photography problems

While taking photos is easy especially in this age where smartphone is commonplace, Night Photography can still be a sour spot for some. You’ll be especially challenged taking photos or portraits in low light conditions where you man encounter more noise, low shutter speeds, and poor lighting.

With the newly launched vivo V30 in the Philippines, vivo aims to bring night photography to everyone thanks to camera improvements and the improved Aura Light 3.0.

The vivo V30 and the Aura Light 3.0

The vivo V30 sports a more traditional dual rear camera at the back with a 50MP f/1.88 main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide secondary. Just below them is the new Aura Light 3.0 that promises to take your low-light shots to the next level.

The Aura Light 3.0 is significantly larger than previous iterations, making its light stronger than before. It’s not just a typical rear flash on steroids as vivo developed an intelligent system where it can identify the distance of the subject and modify the intensity and even the color temperature of the flash.

Taking Next-Level Portraits on the vivo V30

Night photography for the vivo V30 and its improved camera system is seamless and effortless. Just point and shoot at the subject you want to capture and it will switch to Night Mode automatically. Its Aura Light 3.0 can act as a fill light for nearby subjects to get a more even lighting across the photo.

Capturing impressive-looking portraits on the vivo V30 is fairly easy, which makes everyone look like a pro. We used its Portrait mode with default settings just to see how the smartphone makes portrait-taking simpler for everyone.

vivo has made some strides in the portrait game and that shows on the V30. Subjects are naturally separated from the background with decent fall-off at the edges – no more sudden switch from sharp to blur on your photos. Bokeh looks fairly natural and just enough to make your photos appear more “aesthetic.”

Portraits can look truly next-level with the help of the V30’s Aura Light 3.0 – this is especially helpful if you want to separate your subject more from the background. Thanks to its automatic temperature control, the lighting produced by the Aura Light 3.0 looks natural within any scene.

It also produces “catchlights” or light bouncing off the eye to give it that professional portrait look, which can only be replicated in studios or stronger light sources.

If you or your partner don’t really know how to pose for portraits, vivo is offering a bit of help on the camera app. You can choose from several poses and a helpful cutout will appear on the screen, which you can copy.

If you don’t like the amount of bokeh, you can even adjust it via the Album. Just head on over to the Album, choose the photo that you want to edit, and modify the bokeh slider from f/0.95 to f/16. This gives you more creativity while shooting and without worrying about the bokeh effect.

The Battery, Charging, and Storage to Keep You Shooting All Day

vivo V30 Feature

To keep you on taking photos the whole day, the vivo V30 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. This promises a whole-day charge so you can take portraits with you and your friends throughout the day without worrying.

If time does arrive that you need to charge, it’s support for 80W Flash Charge can fill its tank within just 48 minutes. This minimizes downtime and allows you to go out and do your business outside, just chill in a café, or lounge about at your home.

Worried about taking too much portraits? No worries, the vivo V30 5G comes equipped with up to 512GB of internal storage to store all your photos. When paired with 6.78-inch 2800 x 1260 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and 12GB RAM, you can browse or play without worrying about lag or slowdowns.
