In Kingdon Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD2), players must get a horse to travel around the map. However, since Henry starts the game penniless and destitute, you might be wondering where to find a horse in the first place in KCD2. Well, with this guide, you’ll wonder no more. Get to know where to find your first horse and how with this handy guide.

How To Get A Horse Guide – KCD2

Do The Blacksmith’s Missions

Doing the Blacksmith’s Missions in the earlier parts of KCD2 places you in an encounter with Lord Semine. Lord Semine, together with his guard, Gnarly, tasks you with eliminating some bandits with them. For you to accompany them, they ask you to get a horse. Luckily, there’s a cheap one available in their stables.

Reunite With Pebble Your Horse

The horse you lost at the start of the game, Pebbles, can be found in the stables of Lord Semine. However, you have to pay or convince the stable hand, Groom Ballatay, that Pebbles is your lost horse. To do this, talk to Groom Ballatay and select the “Cheap Horse” option. Afterwards, you can either convince him that you are a noble or talk him to giving Pebbles to you for free. You’ll likely lose reputation during the process but if you do well in the subsequent mission with Lord Semine, this loss won’t matter that much.

A Weak Horse (Probably The Weakest In KCD2)

Pebbles Stats

Although not as strong as he once was, Pebbles is still your trusty steed and is good enough for the earlier parts of the game. Do bear in mind that you will have to replace Pebbles down the line for a better horse. Given the stats above, you won’t be blamed for leaving Pebbles. Do not worry though as there are opportunities in the story campaign that would allow you to replace Pebbles for a much stronger horse.
