The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 has officially launched in APAC. It has been co-designed with Devialet like the Huawei Sound X Bluetooth speakers. The device comes in a new Silver Blue color on top of the usual Silver and Ceramic White offerings.
Huawei is promising improved noise cancelling with the new Intelligent ANC 2.0 that automatically switches to the optimal ANC profile. Noise cancelling also works while talking so people on the other end of the call won’t hear the ambient noises.
The earphones will sport a 55mAh battery each and a 580mAh battery pack on its case. It promises up to 6.5 hours of usage on a single charge with ANC off and 4 hours of playback with it on. The battery case can be charged via USB Type-C or wireless charging.
It supports Bluetooth 5.2 and has an 11mm dynamic drivers and planar diaphragm driver. The TWS is also rated at IP54 water and dust resistance so that it can be used outside or while working out.
Pricing and availability for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 are yet to be announced. We expect to receive more information from the brand soon.
