As we near the Mate 10’s anticipated October release, the rumor mill is speculating that Huawei’s Mate 10 will come with an 18:9 Full Active display courtesy of JDI.
The Mate 10 is said to use a 6-inch, 18:9, 2160 x 1080 display. To put that into perspective, the Mate 9 has your usual 5.9-inch, 16:9, 1920 x 1080 screen. This puts the Mate 10’s display a taller screen compared to its predecessor, and putting it a bit closer to the Samsung Galaxy S8’s display.
It’s also been speculated that the Mate 10 will be powered by Huawei’s 10nm HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset for optimal performance as well as 3D sensing dual cameras something akin to that of the iPhone 8.
