Huawei has officially rolled out an update for the Mate 10 series that includes Face Unlock feature that most smartphones nowadays add to their repertoire of security features.
After users have created a facial profile, they will now have two options to use the Face Unlock update; Direct Unlock and Slide to Unlock. Both ways give users the option to choose that best suits their preference.
Direct unlock allows the smartphone to be unlocked when the screen is turned on and the user’s face is recognized. Slider Unlock, however, would need the user to swipe the screen of the smartphone to allow the smartphone to recognize the face of its user.
