It seems that the Huawei Mate X3 will be arriving in the Philippines soon. Select online retailers have started listing the foldable on their stores. Based on their catalog, the Mate X3 will be positioned just north of PhP 100,000.
Much like the P60 Pro, the Huawei Mate X3 sheds the Leica partnership and instead relies on the brand’s own XMAGE technology to boost clarity on its cameras. It doesn’t have variable aperture, however, and sticks to fixed values on its 50MP f/1.8 main lens. Cameras also include a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 12MP f/3.4 telephoto at the back and an 8MP f/2.4 front-facing camera.
Its cover screen is a 6.4-inch LTPO 2504 x 1080 OLED with a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. Unfolding the device reveals a larger 7.85-inch 120Hz OLED display. The chassis is IPX8 water resistant and its new hinge folds the display on itself to close the device flat.
There are new features found on the Mate X3 and its EMUI 13.1 including split-screen mode for watching and video calls simultaneously. It will run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 sans the 5G connectivity and will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge and 50W Wireless Huawei SuperCharge.
