Huawei has confirmed on their official Facebook page that their latest flagship foldable, the Huawei Mate X6, will be launching in the Philippines soon. While they haven’t made any specifics yet, the foldable will arrive in the country on January 2025.
The Huawei Mate X6 first launched in China, and made its way into the global market with its Saudi launch more than a week ago. It is Huawei’s thinnest foldable yet with a 4.3mm-thick chassis and comes with the new HarmonyOS Next operating system.
Huawei equips the Mate X6 with a 7.93-inch 2440 x 2240 120Hz LTPO main display, and a 6.45-inch 2440 x 1080 LTPO OLED cover screen. Inside its thin chassis is a 5,200mAh battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
Cameras include a 50MP f/1.4 – f/4.0 variable aperture main camera, a 48MP telephoto lens with up to 4x optical zoom, and a 40MP ultrawide shooter. There’s also a hyperspectral sensor to help its imaging system improve color accuracy of photos.
The device is said to be powered by a Kirin 9020 chipset complemented by 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its chassis is also rated for IPX8 water resistance.
The Huawei Mate X6 is globally priced at EUR 1,999 or around PhP 123,000 when directly converted.
