The Huawei MateBook D 16 2024 will be coming to a global audience soon. Like its name suggests, it is a refresh of the MateBook D 16 now packing the Intel 13th Generation platform while still maintaining its bezelless screen and fairly thin design.
Measuring at only 17mm, the 2024 refresh of the MateBook D 16 will now come with up to an Intel Core i9-13900H paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB of PCIe NVMe storage. Select variants will come with an Intel Iris Xe GPU. It will come with USB-C ports for charging and display output but there’s no support for Thunderbolt.
The notebook is powered by a 70Whr battery that promises up to 15 hours of video playback as well as 65W USB-C charging. Other features include a fingerprint power button, a 720p webcam, two USB-C ports, and an HDMI output.

The Huawei MateBook D 16 2024 starts at CNY 4,599 (PhP 36,000) for the base Core i5-12450H with 8GB RAM and 512GB variant. Those who need a bit more power can opt for the Core i9-13700H with 16GB RAM and 1TB model that has an asking price of CNY 6,499 (PhP 51,000).
Pricing and availability are yet to be announced in the Philippines by Huawei. The notebook is now up on their local website, so a domestic launch shouldn’t be far off.
