It seems that Huawei is gearing up to release a mid-range tablet. Leaked information about the Huawei MatePad 10.4 points to the device enhancing the brand’s current range of tablet to include a middle-of-the-road option for users.
Based on the leaks, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 will be powered by a Kirin 810 chip with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Its 10.4-inch display is rumored to have a resolution of 2000 x 1200, which is just a step below compared to the screen of the high-end Huawei MatePad Pro 5G.
In terms of camera hardware, the device is suggested to sport an 8MP camera for both the front and the back. It seems that the tablet will have a massive 7,250mAh battery although there’s no information yet if it will have any kind of fast charging.
It is expected that the device will ship with Android 10 with EMUI 10.1. With the things they are now with Huawei, it probably won’t have Google Mobile Services and will instead use Huawei Mobile Services.
The leaks point to the Huawei MatePad 10.4 having a WiFi and a WiFi + 4G variants with Gray and White colors. No word yet as to when Huawei will announce the tablet nor its expected price.
