Alongside the new range of 2023 Huawei MateBooks are two new additions to the MatePad series: the Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch and MatePad Air. The two are made with the HarmonyOS ecosystem with seamless integration with their notebooks, accessories, and smartphones.
The Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch, as its name suggests, has an 11.5-inch 2200 x 1440 display running at 120Hz. It has a 13MP f/1.8 camera at the back and an 8MP f/2.2 front-facing camera. It is geared towards productivity and runs HarmonyOS 3.1, has a 7,700mAh battery that supports 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with 8GB RAM.
The Huawei MatePad Air is a supercharged version of the 11.5-inch. It still has an 11.5-inch IPS display but its resolution and refresh rate are upped to 2800x 1840 and 144Hz, respectively. It has the same cameras and quad speakers but it now has an 8,300mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
