Huawei MatePad 12 X launches in PH for PhP 37,999

The Huawei MatePad 12 X has officially landed in the Philippines. Like most of their MatePad entries, the 12 X is designed to be a desktop and notebook alternative thanks to its comprehensive software suite that offers PC-like experience.

The MatePad 12 X sports a 12.0-inch 2800 x 1840 display. It has a PaperMatte finish that mimics the feel of paper, which leads to a more natural-feeling writing experience. The finish also reduces glare and emits soft light to make the screen easier on the eyes especially for prolonged use.

A Kirin T90A chip is the beating heart of the device complemented by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The tablet is powered by a 10,100mAh battery that promises up to 14 hours of video play back or 12 hours of web browsing. It supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge that fills up its tank in around 85 minutes.

The tablet runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and comes with a PC-level WPS Office Suite. Thanks to its software implementation, the tablet comes with commo office desktop software making the transition to a tablet from a desktop more seamless.

Cameras are pretty basic as expected from a tablet. It packs a 13MP f/1.8 main camera at the back and an 8MP f/2.2 front-facing lens.

As for accessories, the MatePad 12 X supports the Huawei NearLink Keyboard and 3^rd Generation Huawei M-Pencil. These enables the tablet to become a notebook replacement and even enables you to draw your own artwork easily.

The Huawei MatePad 12 X is priced at PhP 37,999 in t he Philippines. It is now available on Huawei’s Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and online store, as well as Huawei stores nationwide.
